# Introduction

Merlin is an AI assistant for your chats. Add it to Discord, Telegram, Slack or Matrix, or talk to it on Home at [atmerlin.com](https://atmerlin.com/home). It answers when someone talks to it, and it can look back through everything said in the chat.

## What Merlin does

- Answers questions about anything said in the chat, even months ago.
- Uses apps you link, like Gmail, Calendar and GitHub. It asks before it sends, creates or changes anything.
- Sends reminders, does tasks on a schedule, and tells you when something changes, like a price.
- Reads photos, files and links you send it, searches the web, uses websites and makes pictures.
