Browser

Merlin's own browser, for websites that need clicking, forms or your logins.

Merlin uses its browser for things like searching flights, checking a booking or filling in a form. Ask “find us cheap flights to Tokyo in January” or “check whether my parcel has shipped”.

Syncing logins

Open Apps on Home and choose Browser to install the extension for Chrome or Firefox. Choose to sync logins for every website, or only some. Merlin can then use those websites as you, even while your computer is off.

Some websites sign you out or ask you to verify it’s you, and some only work on your own device. Disconnect deletes everything that was synced.

Without synced logins, Merlin can still use websites that don’t need a login.

What Merlin can do with Browser

  • Open websites, click, fill in forms and choose options
  • Read pages and take screenshots of them
  • Use logins synced from your Chrome or Firefox, even while your computer is off
  • Check a page on a schedule and tell you when it changes, like a price drop

What Merlin can’t do with Browser

  • Type passwords, card numbers or verification codes
  • Upload or download files
  • Keep every site signed in; some sites tie a login to your own device
  • Use your synced logins for anyone but you

Page alerts

Merlin can check a page on a schedule and tell you when it changes, like a price dropping or tickets going on sale. See Automations.

Logins and payments

Merlin never types passwords, card numbers or verification codes. If it needs a login you haven’t synced, it asks you to sign in to the website in your own browser and sync it.
